"My philosophy is that everyone has the right to representation and a fair trial."
I’ve worked in some of London’s top law firms since I qualified as a solicitor in 2002.
From fraud to terrorism, I’ve never come across a criminal defence case that I’ve refused to take on - my philosophy is that everyone has the right to representation and a fair trial.
As a defence lawyer who’s always worked in and around the City, I’ve built up a wealth of experience, connections and expertise that positions me to offer the best legal representation and advice, whatever the case.
Working with clients, my first priority is to provide reassurance and awareness of legal proceedings, however serious the charges faced.

"I am exceptionally well placed to present the strongest possible defence for my clients."
Since qualifying as a solicitor in 2010 I’ve successfully represented clients on charges ranging from motoring offences through to complex fraud, murder and assault.
For three years I worked at the Crown Prosecution Service where I was involved in preparing serious Crown Court cases for trial.
This experience has given me a huge insight into how prosecution lawyers go about preparing for cases, and means I am exceptionally well placed to present the strongest possible defence for my clients.
I have expertise in benefit fraud cases, having practised in this area of law for a number of years. I now specialise in representing clients charged with motoring offences.
I have thorough knowledge and experience of preparing and managing cases in both Youth and Crown Courts.

THE STORY OF SAMPSON BAILEY
When Hannah found herself working from home and freelancing for a new law firm during the pandemic, she found the perfect ally in Kaddy, who was already well established there.
With a similar outlook on how a modern, agile law firm should operate, they clicked immediately - and it became clear they shared the same vision of running a smaller, more personalised firm, specialising in criminal law.
They wasted no time in setting about turning their idea into a reality.
Their philosophy is:
“When we need to act, we act quickly”
Which is the same principle they bring to putting their clients’ needs first.
With over 35 years’ combined experience and expertise in the legal field, Hannah and Kaddy have grown a law firm with an emphasis on building client relationships at its core.
Sampson Bailey provides a new level in legal service for a world that is not what it used to be.
